DESCRIPTION:A team of Welsh seamstresses is preparing suffragette sashes for each of the 264 female Members of Parliament. \nEach sash will bear the iconic purple\, white\, and green colors\, and each MP will have an embroidered number. The number stands for the numerical position in the historical list of women elected to the parliament in Westminster. \nSuffragettes from the Women’s Social & Political Union march down a street in London\, circa 1908\, wearing Vote for Women sashes.
