DESCRIPTION:Two red pandas were born at the Smithsonian National Zoo in VA; one survived. Because this was the first cub for new mother Keahi\, mom and cub have been on their own. For example\, the gender of the cub isn’t known. \n  \n \n  \nAnother giant panda in the compound turns four on Sept 12\, so there will be a party.
