NM officials have noticed that TV signals reach places too isolated for optical fiber or cell towers. A small experiment with 8 families from Taos uses those TV connections to send files to students. The experiment is being expanded to two more NM towns. The method, datacasting, doesn’t allow 2-way communication but is a promising component of the patchwork of aids.
