Residents on a remote island 20 miles off the east coast of Maine started this library in 2016. I was surprised to learn that a true-story from 2005 would be so challenged. And Tango Makes Three, based on a true story about two male penguins who raised a chick together at the Central Park Zoo. The volunteer, E Murray, said of their non-profit, “We are in a privileged position to say, ‘We don’t ban books,’ and that we welcome people’s suggestions for books.”
