Wyoming LWV members who were attending the LWV national convention in Denver on June 25th were devastated to hear that the Supreme Court overturned abortion rights guaranteed for over 50 years. . An abortion rights rally organized on the steps of the Colorado capitol was attended by hundreds of LWV delegates including those from Wyoming; Nancy Lockwood (state and Laramie leagues), Sherry Lowell (Campbell County league), Linda Barton (Fremont County league), Kate Swistowicz (state and Fremont County leagues).
