According to Gov. Gordon, the new lawsuit against the 2023 law will push the judgement at least two years forward. Senator Cale Case (R-Lander) embellished this prediction saying ” ‘This bill is bad policy. It’s poorly written. It’s got the wrong motivation, and it’s the state of Wyoming exercising absolute power. That’s something we can’t do.” ‘

Kerry Drake’s opinion piece gives many reasons to suspect that the “abortion is not healthcare” claim will not stand up in court.
