1824: Presidential election decided by Congress

The election of 1824 saw four major candidates:  John Q Adams, James Monroe, Henry Clay and John Calhooun, William Crawford.  December 1, 1842 was the only time that the House decided the presidency:  John Q Adams or James Monroe.
