May 15 is the last day to register your political party affiliation
There are two new laws for the coming primary election:
- May 15 is the last day registered voters can change their political party affiliation.
- July 23 is the first day of early voting. It extends for 28 days. County clerks recommend returning ballots a week early, by August 12.
