2023-2024 was a budget rollercoaster for the Board members. Last winter, they planned early retirement incentives of $10K, and the staff did a deep dive into the personnel insurance plan. Bidell School was closed and its students were merged with Spring Creek Elementary. 2024-2025 is the last year of the Lab School as it is now. In the near future discussions about a school-of-choice designation are planned.
The surprisingly good news came mid-July when the Board heard about savings gained and plans for salary increases plus a one-time bonus of $1400 across all FT employees. Read more>>>
