The LWV of Westport models a “unit meeting” in their community will host three (3) elected members of the Westport Board of Education for an in-depth panel and discussion on how the BOE operates each year. They promise to explain how the “BOE governs our school system, sets operating and capital budgets, evaluates and deliberates on major policy decisions, and how you can most effectively participate in the process to express your ideas or concerns.”
