LWV of Cheyenne is one of the major partners of the Civic Season Festival at the Wyoming State Museum, which will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. 

Joan Anderson, Bonnie Harrison, Marguerite Herman, Melissa Leger, and Roz Schliske are working on this committee from the League.

We will sponsor a booth where we will distribute information about registering to vote and being an election judge, provided by the County Clerk’s office, and will supervise a table on the citizenship naturalization oath, provided by the National Civic Season organization.

More than 400 cultural and civic institutions nationwide will host this new summer tradition for learning and action co-designed with Gen Z, the future inheritors of our democracy. Civic Season is a time to explore your story—and how it connects to U.S. history—through events, activities, and resources from credible sources. All are invited to enjoy live music from City Creek Band and Galactic Lemonz, speakers, a lighthearted debate, and information booths highlighting a dozen local and statewide civic organizations
