This recently established “Civic Holiday” is the first of four intended “to address specific actions and opportunities to help more Americans cast a ballot.”  This day was first celebrated in 2012, and the three others in 2020: 

1. 1. 1.  Voter Registration Day — the third Friday in September
      2.  National Voter Education Week —the first week in October
      3.  Vote Early Day — the Friday before Halloween
      4.  Election Hero Day— the Monday before the General Election
