The Joint Predator Management Working Group of the Wyoming Legislature met this week. A key takeaway from the meeting is that the targeted animals should be humanely euthanized. This group was formed by the Joint Travel, Recreation, Wildlife & Cultural Resources Committee. Committee members discussed the challenges of legislating ethics. They contemplated whether it is worse to shoot an animal (a legal action) without knowing whether it is dead, or to hit that animal with a snowmobile without killing it.
