The Native vote in NM and Nevada could swing the 2024 presidential election.  In Nevada, a law to prohibit ballot collection failed.  In AZ such a law passed but was struck down by the SCOTUS in 2021.  Interestingly, the Western States all have more rules than WY:

Idaho, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico allow only people with certain relationships to the voter to turn in a ballot. Nevada and Colorado have looser requirements, while Wyoming doesn’t make any specifications.

Many reservation and rural residents don’t have a traditional mailing address. This makes both registfration and the return of mail-in ballots risky.  Read more>>>
