The Farm Bill is revisited every 5 year-end accounts for billions in spending. The national league LWVUS joined 650 other groups with a letter to Congress urging support for Environmental Investments. The nutritional portion of the 2018 bill was 76% of the whole and this is mostly to fund SNAP. The current bill may contain well over 80% nutritional projects and the total is expected to exceed $1trillion.
