Listen to a young Ecuadorian speak to this first.  Initiated by Amazonian leaders, the country has voted overwhelmingly to evict existing oil projects in protected indigenous parks.

The company is a state-owned company that hoped to see its contract extended rather than shortened.  This round of elections narrowed the presidential field, and its possible that the same politician who first allowed the companies entry.  We’ll see what happens in November.  Read more and listen>>>
