Could be that WY is now 3rd in the highest suicide rate

MTis first, followed by AL and then WY.  All the rates — for every 1000 residents — are close:  28.67, 26.7, and 26.66, respectively.  Last year all were > 30.  The WY call centers handled > 4000 calls.  90% of suicides involved guns, and of those who survived a suicide attempt, the vast majority didn’t make a second attempt in the following 9 years.
