UW Law School presents: Transboundary Waters
November 7, 2023 @ 5:30 pm – 7:45 pm
The Silala River is in dispute between Chile and Bolivia. The conflict was heard before the International Court. The map below shows that this river lies mostly on the left side of the red boundary. However, the spring from which the spring is born is on the right side.
Why is this case the centerpiece of the current issue of a WY law journal? The case serves as a view toward the future when natural resources are in dispute.
