On August 15, the immigration service (USCIS), the Park Service, and the U.S. District Court for Wyoming hosted a ceremony in GTNP.  The 19 new citizens originated in 8 different countries:  Australia, Ecuador, Estonia, Mexico, Morocco, Philippines, Romania, and Vietnam.

The park location was quite intentional.  The officiating magistrate, Mark Carman, explained, “national parks represent the “strength and spirit of the United States.”  Read more about ceremonies, past and future>>>
