This webinar was broadcast in September 2021. National president Dr. Turner introduced the implications of down ballot redistricting. We heard from local state voices, and then Dr. Turner turned to a 3-person panel of redistricting partners. One point made is the need to ban together, taking account of the growth of the people of color communities. Although efforts to effect change can be frustrating. The panel members emphasized emotional role played by the partnerships and support of organizations such as LWV. Especially interesting for me was the feeling that testimonies have really increased.
