Linda Barton passed away on May 24, 2026. Linda was Founder and Chair of the League of Women Voters of Fremont County and Chair of the League of Women Voters of Wyoming.
Linda filled our League with determination, compassion, and a profound belief in civic participation and community service. Her leadership helped create a trusted organization dedicated to empowering voters and encouraging people across Wyoming to take part in public life.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, June 7 at the Lander Community and Convention Center.
