USPS warns that rural mail delivery will slow; 1 virtual townhall to talk

This change is part of a proposed USPS $3B budget cut. One zoom meeting on September 5, 8:00 AM.

In the document submitted to the USPS regulatory board, the changes will: 1) reduce costs, 2) shorten delivery times, to establish a “3-day delivery standard,” 3) cap 1st class delivery at 5 days, averaging 3 days.
