Birthday of LWV founder, Carrie Chapman Catt

Carrie Chapman Catt (1859-1947) founded the League of Women Voters six months before the 19th Amendment was passed.  In 1900 she had become the succeeded Susan B. Anthony as the second leader of the National American Women's Suffrage Association.  Wyoming

2024 GOP Caucus: Iowa

  The party-based rules for the 2024 primaries make for news.  Both parties will caucus in Iowa on January 15.  The DEMs will not announce their results until after primaries in SC  and NV, February 3 and February 6, respectively.
