The 2025 legislation expanded the funding for schools of choice. Of special note are the universal vouchers and the decision NOT to limit the number of such schools. The vouchers provide families $7,000 per K–12 child.  Lastly, the property tax exemptions will reduce local revenues.

The court decision found that the legislature has significantly underfunded public schools. Consequently, the legislature had formed a recalibration committee. You may read the 186-page rule.
