UW has one of the lowest tuition rates in the country. This doesn’t mean that WY residents have a low debt ratio, according to a WalletHub survey.

ON average, Laramie income is $36,130 and average debt is $21,188.  Only 5% have a higher ratio than this, i.e., 58.6%.

On average, Cheyenne does much better.  Their average income is $53,573 and debt is $18,265 so their ratio is 34.1%.  CA has some of the lowest ratios, in the teens while the largest ratios exceed 80%.  Read more>>>
