Tucson is the first city to establish a task force for MMIP. To quote the article, the city should become aware of the scope of the problem — Tucson has the 4th worst ranking — and the mix of experts “will coordinate efforts and develop comprehensive strategies.”
Perhaps most importantly, Native communities will realize that times are changing and their voices are being heard.
