On Thursday, December 8,2022, the UW student newspaper published a letter to their editor about the confrontation in the Union Breezeway Friday a week ago. What we had not yet heard was an eye witness account. Now we have with this letter. The church elder did not willingly remove his sign or the student name on it. Only after UW Legal Council and UW police joined UW Dean of Students did the Elder remove the name.
The letter voiced disappointment and asked from a bolder response from UW President Siegel.
