The Wyoming Supreme Court has ruled that the state’s two abortion bans are unconstitutional. In a 4-1 decision, the court agreed the bans conflict with a 2012 amendment to the Wyoming Constitution that protects individuals’ rights to make their own health care decisions. In response, Gov. Mark Gordon has called for the legislature to draft an anti-abortion constitutional amendment to put the issue on the 2026 general election ballot.
